Pendleton, Indiana (08-21-2010) – One of the premier events held in Pendleton, Indiana each year is the annual “Back To School Fair”. Each year this event helps to buy school supplies and clothing for children in the South Madison Indiana school district. In 2004 almost $20,000 was raised by the events and auction held during the event.

Pendleton held its first annual Back-to-School Fair in August 2003 which was started by Pendleton Christian Church in Pendleton, Indiana. Since it's beginning, the “Back To School Fair” has raised enough money to provide free backpacks and school supplies to thousands of children.
