"Bubbles For Brody"

New Castle, Indiana (08-01-2010) – It was estimated in 2009 that over 250,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed cancer each year, with many of those being children. In New Castle, Indiana today a very special benefit was held, “Bubbles for Brody”, for one of these children, 19 month old Brody Stephens, who was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) this past July 4th and is currently at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Brody’s mom, Celia Stephens, said one of the many ways people can help Body, and other children with cancer, is by donating blood or platelets at Riley Hospital or their local blood donation center.

A Trust Fund for Body has also been set up at Shelby County Bank at 29 East Washington Street in Shelbyville, Indiana Jason and Celia Stephens C/O Brody Stephens.
