One of the many things that I realized upon my first
visit was one has no idea as to the size and openness of
this home when they first view the home from the
entrance way. After I first entered the door I was
amazed as to just how spacious and grand this home is.
The interior of this home has been beautifully decorated
by the owner who has, herself, overseen and decorated
many of the finest homes and businesses in this part of
the U.S.
While this tour does not
take you though the entire 6,500 sq. ft. home it does give you an idea as it
just how grand it is. We did not show the private areas in this home they are
just as grand as are the public areas. While there are many larger homes in
Indiana, none will come close to the attention to every detail in the design,
construction, and décor that the owners both inside and out.
Some of the amenities
designed into this home are 14 plus rooms, including a media room and office, a
huge laundry area, 3 ½ baths, an oversized 3 car garage, and grand fully
screened sunroom just off the kitchen and a beautiful view from a private
terrace located just outside the owners private quarters.
Outside the owner’s
included a large and delightful swimming pool area that is always one of the
main focus and gathering areas during the summer for business entertaining and
family gatherings during the warm months here in Indiana.
The favored interior
focus and gathering point every time I have visited has always been the kitchen
area which the owner talked about during my visit. It is an amazing area. This
kitchen was designed around knowing that this home would be a place that would
often welcome visitors during the many, many large social activates the couple
hosted, both for business and personal. It was designed, not only as a place of
comfort but with tremendous functionality in mind.
